Two new Apple applications to make you want to use the pro vision

Two new Apple applications to make you want to use the pro vision

As promised, visionOS 2.4 brings a breath of fresh air to the Vision Pro, which really needs it. This isn't the big night when the mixed reality headset will find a reason to exist, but the little touches provided by Apple show that the manufacturer isn't giving up. So much the better for users who have spent a lot of money to equip themselves!

Apple Intelligence to the rescue

The first beta of visionOS 2.4, delivered last week, already activated Apple Intelligence features - unfortunately, only in English for now. But we find writing assistance tools, ChatGPT integration, Genmoji and Image Playground, Smart Replies in Messages...

Beta 2, available since last night, brings two major new features. First, a new, unreleased application from Apple, which is unfortunately not very common (when will Pages, Keynote and Numbers be optimized or versions of Final Cut Pro and Logic adapted to spatial computing be available?). This is Spatial Gallery, which compiles and aggregates "spatial" content, immersive, 3D and simply impressive photos and videos to enjoy in the Vision Pro.

The selection includes small making-ofs of Apple TV+ series, third-party content such as those from Redbull or Cirque du Soleil. Enough to compensate, a little, for the drip-feed delivery of immersive content from the Apple TV app.

On the iPhone, the 2nd beta of iOS 18.4 also contains a new application, soberly called Apple Vision Pro. It offers a selection of immersive content and applications that can be installed on the headset without having to wear it. There is also a section dedicated to the user's Vision Pro, which for the moment is content to list a series of tips and not much else. Hoping that Apple really makes you want to launch it from time to time to see if there is anything new.
