Almost three years after its opening in Japan, the Super Nintendo World land that will be attached to the Universal Studios park in Orlando will open its doors on May 22, 2025 with a new area!

The Mushroom Kingdom in real life? This is what we invite you to discover in the world of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios parks. After a big premiere in 2022 in Japan, the land arrived in Los Angeles in Universal Hollywood park in 2023. A third version will be launched in Florida, in Orlando park from May 22, 2025.
As in the first two parks, the Florida version will feature the sumptuous Peach's Castle with an attraction centered on Mario Kart in augmented reality. You can also take part in the Yoshi’s Adventure dark course.
A big new feature is coming with this version of Super Nintendo World, however. Unlike Hollywood and Tokyo, you will be entitled to a new area dedicated to Donkey Kong with its ambitious Mine-Cart Madness rollercoaster. This area should also open in Japan later this year after multiple delays.
Of course, you will also find the wristband-based interaction system, as well as the usual assortment of shops and restaurants to leave with wonderful souvenirs. For our part, we were able to discover the park in September and we present it to you through a special report at this address.
Universal and Nintendo would have quite a few ideas and projects for the continuation of Super Nintendo World according to many insiders, including areas dedicated to The Legend of Zelda and Pokémon. But for now, nothing has yet been officially confirmed by the companies. In any case, we can't wait to see what these parks have in store for us in the coming years.
