Samsung took advantage of the MWC in Barcelona to present some highly anticipated products. Among them, the mixed reality headset that we were able to see at the show. The Galaxy S25 Edge with its impressive finesse is also present.
The Apple Vision Pro was not a resounding success, but mixed reality headsets have not yet said their last word. Thus, Samsung presented its version at the MWC in Barcelona. We were able to get close to it.
This headset, simply called Project Moohan for now, is the first draft of a product that Samsung would like to eventually market. It is a mixed reality headset, just like the Vision Pro, except that it runs on Android XR, the Android version dedicated to this type of product. Important clarification, this is a concept and the manufacturer warns: the design is very likely to change for the commercial version.
A headset with a classic but effective design
In terms of design, we are on familiar ground. We have "glasses" with two integrated screens, as well as a wide headrest to fit the user well. Unfortunately, we couldn't put it on, but the protective foam and the headband adjustments promise appreciable flexibility. Will we be able to use it with glasses? That's our big question.
On the branches, we notice a metal hook, in order to attach an external battery for greater mobility. Excellent idea! On the glasses, the cameras are well hidden under a reflective surface. For use, we can imagine something close to what Apple offers with its headset. No price or release date for now, but we hope that the Korean brand will communicate soon on the subject.

Samsung also presented its Galaxy S25 Edge to the general public, its ultra-thin smartphone teased at the end of the S25 announcement. Still no date, price, or technical specifications for this product, but we were able to see its thinness. It's impressive! It is only 6.2 mm thick, it is the thinnest in the Android world. We are seduced by the technical prowess, but we wonder what this could bring to the user, especially since such a wasp waist should drastically reduce the battery. We will of course test it in due time.
