Assassin's Creed Shadows: Big updates are coming, here's when you'll be able to discover them

While Ghost of Yotei has announced its PC release date, the other game set in feudal Japan, Assassin's Creed Shadows, continues to chart its course. Recently, the developers made a whole series of quality-of-life improvements with Title Update 1.0.2, which added PSSR support on PS5 Pro, offering a "Balanced" mode with ray tracing and a high frame rate. Boss balance has also been adjusted, as have horse speeds in cities and many other things.

Assassin's Creed Shadows takes an appointment for its future

The addition of PSSR for the PS5 Pro version of Assassin's Creed Shadows wasn't entirely smooth, and Ubisoft was forced to deploy a Title Update 1.0.3 to address this and other issues related to HDR, crashes, and more, including on PC where the game needed stability. And this is just the beginning, as creative director Jonathan Dumont has already announced that the teams have a list of things to accomplish in mind. In fact, we have some news on the future of Assassin's Creed Shadows.

In a video published on X, the community manager invited players to talk about the big updates and new requested features that are coming, and here's when you'll be able to discover them. "Greetings Assassins, my name is Dan, I'm in charge of the community on Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The game launched about a month ago, and it’s been exciting to see millions of you enjoying the game. Launch is just the beginning. Now it’s time to look ahead and tell you a little more about our post-launch plans. But not just yet. Mark your calendars for more on that next week.

To learn more about the future of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, look forward to April 30, 2025. The content isn’t known yet, but user X suggested that new quests could be added to the objective board, featuring NPCs never before seen in Assassin's Creed Shadows. The first DLC, Hunt on Awaji, could also provide some news.
