We already know that the launch of GTA 6 will be historic. No need to be an expert, to be called Mrs. Irma, or to pore over 250 market analyses. It's certainly the most anticipated game of the decade, the game is scaring the competition, and several major industry players are waiting for the release date to be revealed to make their own plans, and players are watching the trailer over and over again, clinging to the slightest rumor. Still no specific date to sink their teeth into, we have to settle for "end of 2025" for now. But the tide could well turn soon.
An imminent announcement for the release date of GTA 6?
We were still talking about it recently, but given the circumstances, a presentation of GTA 6 should soon be on the horizon. The strategy of Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-two, is to keep fans guessing until the last moment. Making an announcement only a few months or weeks before the release. However, the latter must actually be set for the end of the year. According to the latest news, no delay was planned. We will certainly have news on this during the next financial report scheduled for around May 15th.
While we don't really have any information regarding this famous release date, recent movements within the company rather suggest good news. As many seem to think, it could well be that GTA 6 is aiming for a release around October. The recent delay in the release date of Borderlands 4 can be seen as a sign if we try to read between the lines. It could be that the shooter will give way to the giants by bringing its release forward by a few days. If you don't see the connection between the two games, know that they simply share the same parent company and by extension the same release schedule. If the rest of us poor mortals have no idea when GTA 6 will be released, there's no doubt internally that they must certainly have a clearer idea.
This is obviously pure speculation, but the planets seem to be aligning little by little. We'll have to wait a little longer, but we should have news in the coming weeks or months, that's for sure.
