Do you have a whole bunch of physical, plastic loyalty cards and would like to be able to empty your wallet? Why not import a digital version to store directly on your iPhone, within the Apple Card app.
While some stores offer, from their official app, to import a digital copy of your loyalty card onto your iPhone, this is unfortunately not the case for all. Some brands limit themselves to providing you with a single barcode associated with to the corresponding customer number.
Rest assured, this does not prevent you from being able to import a digital copy into Apple Cards. But you will need to get your hands dirty. Here's how to generate a digital loyalty card in your Apple Wallet.
1. Go to PassWallet
Open Safari on your iPhone and go to PassWallet.app. This free online service, developed in France, offers to generate a digital copy of your loyalty cards for you.
2. Search for your brand
The platform already includes some 227 predefined loyalty card templates from different brands and establishments. So, search for your loyalty card template in the search engine provided for this purpose and press Search. If the store is available, select it.
3. Fill in your information
You must now fill in your loyalty card information, namely your first and last name, as well as your card number. Then press the Add to Cards (Wallet).
4. Add your new card to Apple Cards
A digital copy of your loyalty card should then automatically appear in Apple Cards format on your screen. Then tap the Add button in the top right corner to add it to your Apple Cards wallet.
You can then quickly access this new loyalty card as you normally do with your bank cards, by double-tapping the iPhone's power button.
