Have you ever imagined what your favorite video game characters would look like if they were to become real? A member of the Reddit community has set out to make this dream come true by using the power of generative artificial intelligence to imagine what these iconic characters would look like. The result is truly sumptuous and it's hard to imagine that AI created these images.
When video game characters become real
To bring his project to life, Reddit member Seneon_ai created detailed prompts for each character you'll discover. He then gave his descriptions to the artificial intelligence Midjourney, which was responsible for generating these images in a realistic version. The result is stunning; we can perfectly recognize the icons of Pop Culture. You'll discover realistic versions of Chun-Li, Luigi, Gordon Freeman, Sephiroth, Sonic, and many others, thanks to an internet user and fan.
1/ Crash Bandicoot in his eponymous game
2/ Kratos in God of War
3/ Dante in Devil May Cry
4/ Ryu in Street Fighter
5/ Gordon Freeman in Half Life
6/ Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII
7/ Bowser in Super Mario Bros.
8/ Mario in Super Mario Bros.

10/ Chun-Li in Street Fighter
11/ Ellie in The Last of Us
12/ Joël in The Last of Us

Please note that these images come primarily from the imagination of an Internet user and user of the Midjourney artificial intelligence, and it is important to emphasize that these are in no way announcements of official projects. No adaptation into a film, series, or video game is planned based on these realistic images. These creations remain the fruit of Seneon_ai's imagination who knew how to brilliantly use AI to achieve this result.
This is not the first attempt for this Reddit member, since Seneon_ai has already created realistic versions of characters from Pop Culture such as Woody, Ariel, Olaf, Jasmine, SpongeBob SquarePants, Jasmine, and Bob Razowksi from Monsters, Inc.. The result is just as interesting as for video game characters and gives us a vision of what they could be in a Live-Action film.
