Samsung has just officially launched its new One UI 7 interface. Many Galaxy models are starting to receive the Android 15 overlay. Others will follow in the coming weeks according to an already busy schedule.
Samsung regularly offers major Android updates for its smartphones and tablets. These new versions introduce visual improvements, additional functions, and practical adjustments. Android 15, combined with One UI 7 follows this logic, with a gradual rollout across several models. As is often the case, the most recent devices are served first, before a wider distribution on older models.
The rollout began on April 7, 2025 in South Korea, before arriving in the United States and Europe. Among the new features of One UI 7 are a clearer shortcuts panel, a separation between notifications and quick settings, a vertical app drawer and a redesigned multitasking interface. Samsung also introduced new visual effects and better customization of icons and folders.
One UI 7 is coming to the Galaxy S24, Fold 6, Tab S10 and more
The update The update to Android 15 is already available on several smartphones and tablets, including:
- Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra (wide rollout)
- Galaxy S24 FE, S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra (available in Korea)
- Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 (wide rollout)
- Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 (available in Korea)
- Galaxy Tab S10+, S10 Ultra, Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra (in Korea)
Samsung plans to deploy Android 15 to more than 50 models by the end of July. Here are some of the confirmed models:
- Galaxy S22, S21, S23 FE series
- Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, Fold 3, Flip 3
- Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, S8 Ultra, Tab S6 Lite
- Galaxy Tab S9 FE, S9 FE+
- Several Galaxy A series (A56, A36, A26, A34, A35, A25, A15, A24, A33, A53, A16)
- Galaxy Tab A9, A9+, Tab Active 5, and Active 4 Pro
Some models like the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Tab S10 FE will ship directly with One UI 7 pre-installed. Samsung also confirmed a timeline extending to June 2025.
