If you don't overdose on chocolate and can sit in your office chair, there are still free games to keep for life or try on PC. For example, the Epic Games Store is offering Amanita Design's excellent Botanicula and Firestone: Online Idle RPG gifts with a bundle worth a total of $100. Steam's free games of the weekend
What's new on Steam? Two free games, including one very popular one, are available to try until Monday, April 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM. The first of these is No More Room in Hell 2. A Left 4 Dead-like game still in early access that has launched a new REANIMATION update. This patch includes two new maps, a revised and corrected combat system, additional weapons, random character generation, and a new inventory system. For the rest, it's the same as the basic formula. We are therefore faced with a game that can be enjoyed in co-op, up to 8 players, where you must survive, glean resources, stock up, and complete missions without getting eaten. Typical for L4D fans.
Next, Steam is offering a free trial of Barotrauma. We're still in the horror genre with a 2D submarine simulation, playable solo or in co-op, which incorporates RPG and survival horror elements and draws inspiration from FTL: Faster Than Light, Rimworld, etc., among others. "Operate a submersible, complete missions, fight monsters, repair leaks, and craft items. But beware, danger strikes without warning!". It's a Steam must-have for a large number of players, with 94% positive reviews out of 50,879 ratings. Please note that a 50% price discount is applied on Steam until April 26, 2025 to go beyond this free trial.
AtmaSphere to download for free and keep for life
In addition to these two free trials, Steam lets you download and keep AtmaSphere for life until April 23, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.. A game of skill where you have to roll a ball without it falling, all in a medieval atmosphere. But to stop you in your task of collecting diamonds to impress Ballerina, you will have to overcome many obstacles. The further you advance, the more difficult the 30 levels become. So, a cool head is required. If you download it before the indicated date, it will remain in your Steam library for life.
