The Sims 4 Announces Its Next Three DLCs, and Players Are Already Fans

Like all evolving games, The Sims 4 needs to be tweaked from time to time. Maxis and Electronic Arts have already given a glimpse of the new major update. A patch that will be there to fix more bugs, particularly those related to object interactions, such as the inability to water plants, high school event tasks not appearing for secondary active teens, and many other things. But for now, the two companies have spoken again to reveal more about the upcoming content. There will be three in total, and it's already worth the detour for many players.

The Sims 4 presents three new kits available in May 2025

The Sims 4 will allow you to celebrate more "life's big moments" with three new kits. Thanks to the DIY Workshop, you can use the Tinkering skill to repair everyday appliances that have broken down. A microwave, a coffee machine, or even a refrigerator, nothing will resist your talents. And like a true pro, you will be able to create a functional environment with modular shelving, workbenches... The whole lot!

The Sims 4 Golden Age DLC pack aims to make your senior Sims live the good life, and to express the individuality of each of them. "Several Sims are in a lush, colorful garden. Two Sims are flirting, one Sim is looking at them and looking angry, and one Sim is sitting on a bench." One of the important points is the look you can choose to give your senior Sims, which includes accessories like glasses with a cord, hairpieces, gardening gloves, etc.

Finally, The Sims 4 also invites you to spend more time in the kitchen with the Kitchen Accessories kit, which, as you might expect, is there to add an extra touch of customization to your kitchen. In addition to the cosmetic aspect, you'll be able to fully utilize objects like a cookie jar, a cereal box, a lunch box, or even stock up the fridge with the grocery bag. All three new kits from The Sims 4: Workshop, Golden Age, and Kitchen Accessories are expected this Thursday, May 1, 2025, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (EA App, Epic Games Store, Steam). As usual, you need the base game to install these kits, which players are already fans of. "I love them"; "They're so cute"; "I want them" can be read in reactions to this announcement.
