€100 off the PS5: should you buy the Days of Play deals?

For PlayStation gamers, the arrival of warmer weather is, above all, synonymous with savings. Like every year, Sony is preparing two exceptional weeks packed with community activities, PlayStation Plus content, and, above all, discounts on PS5 consoles, games, and accessories. We now have confirmation that Days of Play 2025 will return today, May 28 (at 12:01 PM, French time). The festivities will continue until June 11 (at 12:59 PM, French time) and will be an opportunity to make huge savings. To make sure you don't miss any major offers, here's a summary of the biggest promotions that will only last two weeks.

The PlayStation 5 ecosystem at bargain prices

The Days of Play are primarily intended to convince gamers to complete their PlayStation setup, or to join this gaming ecosystem for the first time. Sony isn't shy about selling off consoles, peripherals, and games. These deals will be available on the manufacturer's official website, as well as at select participating retailers. This year, PlayStation digital and standard consoles are set to return to their pre-inflation prices, while the PlayStation 5 Pro will benefit from a more moderate discount. Gamers will want to keep an eye out for the following promotions:

  • €100 off the PS5 Digital Edition and Standard Edition: digital console at €399.99 and console with player at €449.99.
  • €50 off the PS5 Pro: a console billed at €749.99 instead of €799.99.
  • €50 off the PSVR2 and the PSVR2 + Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle: a price of €399 applied to both bundles instead of €449.99.
  • €30 off the PULSE Explore wireless headphones: that's €189.99 instead of €219.99.
  • €30 off the DualSense Edge controller: that's €189.99 instead of €219.99.
  • €20 off a selection of DualSense controllers.
  • €20 off the Access controller: €69.99 instead of €89.99.

Discounts will also be offered on major recent games, such as Astro Bot, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and LEGO Horizon Adventures. These reduced prices will be applied directly via the PlayStation Store, but should also be available on physical editions of the titles via participating retailers.

Additional surprises for PlayStation Plus

Sony is also taking advantage of Days of Play to motivate its players to subscribe to a PlayStation Plus subscription. This year, users can save up to 30% on select 12-month subscription plans. An upgrade offer will also be available to Essential and Extra subscribers, allowing them to convert their remaining subscription term to the Premium tier at a 30% discount. To top it all off, the June rotation of titles will include NBA 2K25, the Alone in the Dark reboot, the excellent indie title Bombrush Cyberfunk, and the Destiny 2 expansion The Final Shape. The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium membership catalog will also welcome Another Crab’s Treasure, Skull and Bones, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection, and Grand Theft Auto III. Finally, nostalgic PS Plus Premium subscribers will find Myst and its sequel Riven in the classics catalog.
