According to Scarlett Johansson, Avengers Endgame should have won the Oscar for Best Picture in 2020. As a reminder, that year, the statuette went to Parasite, the film by South Korean director Bong Joon-ho. This decision is hardly surprising, as blockbusters or blockbuster films are rarely rewarded by the Academy, with the notable exception of masterpieces like The Lord of the Rings.
