Firminy, a peaceful French town of 17,000 inhabitants located in the Loire department, is the scene of a merciless war between Burger King and McDonald's, the two fast food giants. Indeed, Burger King is coming to this small town, and to announce its arrival, the fast food chain has humorously hijacked its competitor's sign. In a brilliant commercial, a Burger King truck can be seen pulling up in front of McDonald's yellow "M". The vehicle, inscribed in white letters on a red background, reads "Mmmmmh, Burger King".

This is far from the first time McDonald's has trolled Burger King in advertising, the competition between the two brands is not new. Burger King's communication on social networks is excellent, but other fast food restaurants also stand out, as with this sequence of Temptation Island hijacked by KFC to mock its competitors. It must be said that competition is tough in France: while McDonald's France has more than 1,500 restaurants throughout the country, Burger King has become the second-largest burger chain in France with 580 restaurants. The Whooper's house is still far behind, but the gap is closing, thanks in particular to its "top-notch" communication!
