GTA 6: The map is said to be gigantic, recent discoveries are already selling the dream

Requested for over a year and a half by players, GTA 6 Trailer 2 was finally unveiled by Rockstar Games last week. Unsurprisingly, it was a resounding success. Having become the most-viewed trailer in the history of the internet in the space of 24 hours, it has since been scrutinized and analyzed from every angle by fans, eager to unearth every little hidden piece of information. And indeed, some may have made a great discovery regarding the game's map.

A second state on the agenda for GTA 6?

We know that, like the eponymous game released in 2003, GTA 6 will set its sights on the beautiful city of Vice City. Inspired by the city of Miami in Florida, it will take us to explore the fictional state of Leonida, which is already shaping up to be gargantuan. From the very heart of the city to the Keys archipelagos, passing through Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and Ambrosia, there will certainly be plenty of scenery to see. Perhaps even more than we imagine if the fan theory that other states would be present proves to be true.

Because indeed, by carefully analyzing the game's trailer, Internet users were able to notice that certain vehicles were registered in the name of another state: that of "Gloriana". For many, this could be a first clue as to the presence of a fictional version of Georgia in GTA 6, with which Florida shares a common border. Moreover, some players have also pointed out that the Mount Kalaga National Park, revealed by the studio in images, strangely resembles Providence Canyon located… in Georgia!

A title full of surprises

Of course, needless to say: all of this remains pure speculation for the moment. However, when we know how much Rockstar likes to push the limits of the open world, we can expect anything from GTA 6, which could be simply gigantic. Including a potentially two-state game area, although this should remain rather limited. After all, remember that North Dakota was the subject of two missions in GTA 5, while Mexico appears in Red Dead Redemption.

Similarly, remember that according to information shared by Jason Schreier a few years ago, the code name for GTA 6 was "Project Americas." A name that, again, could potentially point to the idea that several regions of the country would be involved. In any case, one thing is certain: Rockstar's future title is still far from having revealed all its secrets. And unfortunately, we'll have to be patient to find out, because it won't arrive before May 26, 2026... if it doesn't suffer another delay.
