In October 2024, we learned that the Spirou Provence park would dedicate a new area to the world of Naruto, a story of immersing ourselves in Konoha, the hidden village of the Land of Fire well known to fans of Masashi Kishimoto. A first image of the construction site has just been published.
Naruto, a global manga phenomenon
The manga Naruto, published between 1999 and 2014 and created by Masashi Kishimoto, has millions of fans across the planet. The mangaka's work tells the story of a young ninja who, to overcome adversity, stops at nothing. Success is there and very quickly, Naruto establishes itself in popular culture and has continued to influence generations of readers.
So, it is quite natural that the general director of the Spirou Provence park, located in Avignon, took advantage of the Naruto Shippuden Symphonic Experience Cine Concert in Paris to announce the opening of a new area dedicated to the famous ninja in the French park.
The park wants to offer an immersive experience to visitors who will be able to immerse themselves in a faithful reproduction of the village of Konoha, the construction of which is carried out in collaboration with the Japanese creators of the anime.
The construction site of Naruto's Konoha Village is revealed
Last December, the park gave us a nice gift by revealing concept art of the area that will soon be dedicated to the world of Naruto. Spanning an area of 1.5 hectares, this land will offer visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the streets of Konoha and the cult locations of the manga. A new environment that will appeal to teenagers, young adults, and families alike. In this area, a main attraction will be a family roller coaster.
It will overlook a reconstruction of Konoha Village, which will provide the entrance to the Hidden Village. leaves, the main building where the Hokage's offices are located and the Hokage Monument on which we can see the sculpted faces of Hashirama and Tobirama Senju as well as Hiruzen Saruboti and Minato Namikaze. Visitors will be able to enjoy a catering offer. We hope that the menu will offer Japanese noodles and especially Ishiraku ramen, a dish that Naruto loves!
The work on this area, which will delight all Naruto fans, has already begun and is revealed in photos. The park teams are at work is underway, and apparently, this is only the beginning!
We can't wait to see the final result. For that, see you in 2026!
