Having become a phenomenon in the community in no time, Pokemon Pocket is now comfortably installed on the phones of millions of players around the world. It must also be said that Creatures Inc. and DeNA know how to pamper their audience: with large booster packs that skillfully play on fans' acute collector's syndrome. And while the last expansion, Celestial Guardians, was barely released last month, the time has already come for the title to welcome a highly anticipated new update.
A new expansion is coming to Pokemon Pocket
Many players dreamed of it, and now it's a reality: Ultra Beasts are coming to Pokemon Pocket! Revealed a few weeks ago by dataminers, their official arrival will take place next week, on May 29th to be precise, through the new expansion titled Interdimensional Crisis. "Is that an Ultra Rift we see on the horizon?" can be read alongside the announcement video, which reveals some of the new Pokemon Pocket cards expected for the occasion.
And there's no doubt that these are likely to make people happy. Between Buzzwole EX and Pierroteknik, passing by Zerod, Engulphur EX, Celesteela, Cancrelove, Katagami, Cablelife, Mandrill and Ama-Ama... These are certainly beautiful Ultra Beasts just waiting to be captured. Not to mention that alongside this, Interdimensional Crisis will also mark the arrival of a slew of additional cards in Pokemon Pocket. For example, Tapu Koko EX, Type:0, Elsa-Mina, Alolan Diglett, Zeraora, Lampignon and even Brindibou will be there.
Pokémons as rare as they are powerful
In short, it's fair to say that for those who were hoping things would calm down a bit, it's a failure. Because the developers clearly have no intention of slowing down, and this new expansion is here to prove it. See you in a week, then, to go hunting for Ultra Beasts with Interdimensional Crisis, and especially to better see the power of these extremely rare Pokémon straight from Pokémon Sun and Moon. As a reminder, Pokemon Pocket is available exclusively on iOS and Android.
