Star Wars Outlaws Gets a Huge Update, Here's What's New

As announced as part of its post-launch roadmap for its first year of life, Star Wars Outlaws today welcomes its second paid DLC, A Pirate's Fortune. It also takes the opportunity to move to version 1.6, which brings many changes promised by Ubisoft to further spice up the adventures of Kay and Nix. Finally, free content related to the Skeleton Crew series is also joining the crew. We'll give you the details.

A Pirate's Fortune smiles again for Star Wars Outlaws?

Since its release in August 2024, Star Wars Outlaws has come a long way across the galaxy. It has notably received numerous updates aimed at correcting blaster fire in many aspects, mainly in terms of gameplay, as well as a first paid DLC. This May 15, 2025, it's back to business with the simultaneous release of its second DLC, A Pirate's Fortune, and the major update 1.6.

A Pirate's Fortune, the second DLC for Star Wars Outlaws, priced at 14.99 euros, will take Kay and Nix into the Khepi system with the mission of confronting Stinger Tash and his crew to steal their treasures. To help her in this heist, she may or may not be able to count on the iconic pirate Hondo Ohnaka and the trade league to obtain new reputation tasks, and therefore rewards.

As for update 1.6 of Star Wars Outlaws, it brings new important changes to the title. Among the notable elements, we finally have the possibility to freely fire the blaster while piloting the speeder and to keep on yourself up to two two-handed weapons. The Trailblazer also has new passive systems to reinforce its effectiveness. The space contracts are also enriched with new types of missions. We will also appreciate welcome improvements so that the AI is quicker to take cover.
