Originally released on April 26, 2024, exclusively on PS5, Stellar Blade was going to be ported to PC sooner or later, as its Korean studio Shift Up has repeatedly assured. It was therefore only a matter of time before we knew the precise release date, with until now a launch window sometime in June 2025. This has now been confirmed via a trailer leaked by PlayStation itself, as it was released early and quickly removed. But not fast enough for the information to be known.
Cache cette date de sortie sur PC de Stellar Blade que l'on ne saurait voir
We already knew the release window for the PC version through a trailer announcing the collaboration between Stellar Blade and Goddess of Victory Nikke, published last February. All that was missing was the exact date for PC players to prepare to welcome EVE properly on their machines. PlayStation had apparently planned to announce it during the week, but showed a little too much enthusiasm by publishing the trailer planned for this purpose before time. But the damage is done, and now we have a date with EVE on PC set for June 11.
As a PC port, this version of Stellar Blade will take advantage of the technologies currently in vogue on this platform, such as DLSS (up to 4), FSR 3, Frame Generation, unlimited frame rates, support for ultra-wide screens, all the features of the DualSense, as well as the addition of Japanese and Chinese voiceovers. It will also welcome brand new content, namely a new boss and 25 new outfits for EVE, which should also arrive on PS5 the same day, as well as higher resolution textures for the environment.
To top it all off, Stellar Blade on PC will come in a Complete Edition, including not only the base game, but also the additional content released after its launch on PS5, such as the NieR Automata and Nikke DLCs. While we wait for the trailer to return to PlayStation's official YouTube channel, here is the one that was leaked and then removed, as recovered in particular by the PlayStation subreddit.
