The series The Walking Dead managed to build a fan base very quickly, but when Glenn's character was massacred by Negan at the beginning of season 7, a number of fans of the series simply tuned out and stopped watching. Luckily for these fans, it could well be that Glenn returns in the spin-off The Walking Dead: Dead City and here's how.
The Walking Dead Dead City: Will a fan favorite soon be back?
When the series The Walking Dead began, the quality of the writing, the accuracy of the staging, and the relevance of the casting immediately met with the support of fans. While Rick can easily be considered the hero of the story, it is the character of Glenn who has won the hearts of a large part of the public. This young man full of courage manages to gain stripes over the seasons, marries Maggie with whom he will have a child. Unfortunately, he will never see his son grow up since he is eliminated by Negan in the first episode of season 7 and this event fixes a visceral hatred on the part of Maggie for the terrible antagonist.
Since the end of the parent series, several spin-off series have emerged and the one set in New York with the title The Walking Dead: Dead City takes us to the two irreconcilable protagonists Maggie and Negan. We also find alongside Maggie her son Hershel who has grown up and who is played by the young Logan Kim. The latter recently gave an interview to our colleagues at Screenrant and did not fail to express his wish to see Glenn's character return to the screen, before explaining how this could be brought about aptly:
We could have a flashback of Glenn, or maybe even have him appear in ghost form! That would be really cool, something like that. Hershel never really knew his father, so I don't know if he would know what he looks like then.
Logan Kim's mention of this wish may not be insignificant and may tell us a little too much about what the show's creators have planned.
