Usually very present during periods like the Summer Game Fest, Ubisoft has opted for absolute discretion this year. In addition to not offering any Ubisoft Forward, the French publisher was conspicuous by its absence from the main conferences, where none of its future games were presented. Well, almost. Because as the company had specified, we were still treated to a small appearance from it at yesterday's PC Gaming Show, where a new trailer for Anno 117: Pax Romana was shown.
A release date for Anno 117 Pax Romana
It's true, it's not necessarily Ubisoft's most popular franchise. Especially when you consider that projects like Assassin’s Creed Hexe or the remakes of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Splinter Cell are on the way. But Anno remains a very popular franchise for a whole bunch of players, who have been waiting for a year to know the release date of the new installment. And it’s now done since we learned that Anno 117: Pax Romana will be released on November 13, 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
Now available for pre-order, the strategic city builder will take us this time to the time of the Roman Empire, in 117 AD. Described as the "most ambitious episode to date" by Ubisoft, Anno 117: Pax Romana will offer the possibility of developing its provinces with an unrivaled level of detail, flexibility and scale. Being a strategy game, it will allow you to forge alliances, and above all, will involve making difficult choices with heavy consequences. "They will determine the course of your story" indicates the game sheet.
A collector's edition announced
And since good news never comes alone, know that Anno 117: Pax Romana will also be entitled to a collector's edition called "Governor's Edition". Just announced by Ubisoft, this one will be offered exclusively at certain participating retailers. Here's what it will contain:

At the time of writing, its price, however, is still unclear for France. That said, knowing that the Governor's Edition appears at €159.99 in our German neighbors, we should also be around this price. As for the standard edition of Anno 117: Pax Romana, it is listed at €59.99. Finally, please note that the Builder Pack will be offered to you for any pre-order of the game before its official release.
