Available since February 2024, the Honor Magic V2 is a high-end smartphone that shines with its solid construction, premium design, and performance. By default, this model cost 1,999 euros, and competed with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold5.
In the meantime, it could be found for around 1,000 euros at best. That said, today and until Wednesday evening, June 25, it is possible to get one for a surreal price. For the final hours of its Summer Sale, AliExpress is offering the Honor Magic V2 for just €649.
The Honor Magic V2 is at a crazy price, it's here:
It's pure madness, allowing you to get it for €1,300 less than when it was released, an incredible discount of -67%. You have to act quickly, since the e-retailer only has around fifty units at this crazy price. The less you wait, the more likely you are to take advantage of it.
Otherwise, the smartphone is shipped quickly from France (just a few days), and the price obviously includes VAT. As on the official Honor website, it comes with a two-year warranty. If it doesn't suit you once you receive it, you have 15 days to return it and receive a refund. Finally, you can pay in 6 interest-free installments via PayPal.
Honor Magic V2: an ultra-premium foldable
The Honor Magic V2 is undoubtedly the most affordable premium smartphone on the market today (see our review here). This is thanks to this impressive discount that AliExpress is giving us. Specifically, it folds horizontally, like a book. This model particularly impressed when it was launched, as it was simply the thinnest foldable smartphone in the world.
When folded, the Magic V2 is only 9.90 mm thin. Once unfolded, it is even thinner, at only 4.7 mm. This therefore provides an excellent grip, whether you use it open or closed. On the display side, the phone offers a 6.43-inch exterior screen, which offers all the features found on a classic smartphone (notifications, screen saver, etc.).
Unfolded, it sports a large 7.92-inch screen, which offers high-quality user and visual comfort, similar to that of an 8-inch tablet. These OLED screens, both exterior and interior, benefit from a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + technology for rich and faithful colors, sharp and precise renderings, for an exceptional visual experience.
Otherwise, as thin as it is, the Honor Magic V2 is a robust phone and its titanium hinge has been designed to be folded at least 400,000 times. Under its hood, the smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, supported by 16 GB of RAM. It's the same chip that powers the Galaxy Z Fold5, and delivers excellent performance whether for heavy applications, gaming or multitasking.
You have an ultra-comfortable 512 GB of internal memory, perfect for installing all applications and other games, as well as for storing all your files. In addition, the Magic V2 offers a full day of battery life, thanks to its solid 5000 mAh battery (compatible with 66W fast charging). The camera part is convincing, with a 50 Mpx wide-angle main sensor, a 50 Mpx ultra-wide-angle, a 20 Mpx telephoto lens and a 16 Mpx selfie sensor.
The icing on the cake is that even though it was launched with Android 13, the Magic V2 officially upgraded to Android 15 this year in January. As a result, it is up to date, and benefits from all the features of Google's OS, as well as those of its MagicOS user interface. In short, it is a high-end foldable smartphone that has everything to seduce. For this price of 649 euros instead of 1999 euros, it is clearly a golden deal.
