Even though attention is slowly turning to Legends ZA, Pokemon Scarlet and Purple is far from being buried. While waiting for the release of the future game, the ninth generation is getting a good polish on Nintendo Switch 2. But that's not all! It continues to offer its entire community very interesting events to strengthen your team. Get ready, it's already started.
A big fight in Pokemon Scarlet and Purple
Like every weekend, Pokemon Scarlet and Purple challenges you. And doubly so this time! First of all, the game launches a new Teracrystal raid at the dark crystal. Prepare your team and especially your Pokeballs to capture your prey between June 5 and 15, 2025.
This weekend, Porygon2 stands before you for 7-star Teracristal raids. Equipped with the Overpowering badge, it will be a prime specimen to add to your team. Note that you can only catch it once per game. But don't hesitate to return to the battle after obtaining it to earn XP.
Rare Pokemon galore
At the same time, another event awaits you in Pokemon Scarlet and Purple. To celebrate the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, it seems that Game Freak has really decided to put Porygon2 in the spotlight. Expect it to literally invade your game until Sunday, June 15, 2025.
In fact, a wave of massive appearances of Porygon2 awaits you for ten days. You'll find them in Paldea, Septentria, and also at the Blueberry Institute. The advantage of this type of event is that the chance of finding shiny specimens—very rare, therefore—is increased tenfold!
How to access the new events in Scarlet and Purple?
Mass spawns are available for free in Pokemon Scarlet and Purple. However, you must not only have completed the game's main story to access the Teracristal event raids, but also have a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Once these requirements are met, the process is very simple. Start by making sure that your Nintendo Switch 1 or 2 console is connected to the internet. Then, launch Pokemon Scarlet or Purple. From the main screen, you will need to go to the "Poké Portal" menu, then "Mystery Gifts" and finally select "Receive Poké Portal News". After that, all you have to do is play.
