A new trailer for Superman has just been released. A chance to stock up on never-before-seen footage. A new trailer that teases the presence of a mysterious white creature. Recently, James Gunn revealed the name of this disturbing creature.

We are only a few weeks away from the release of Superman, as the James Gunn film is expected to hit theaters on July 9th. Led by David Corenswet as the Man of Steel, Superman will officially launch the DC Universe (DCU) of James Gunn and Peter Safran (even if the series Creature Commandos is also in the DCU).
A new trailer for Superman has just been released. New images reveal more about the other characters in the film, such as Mister Terrific (Edi Gathegi), Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion), and especially Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult). These new images also gave the first glimpse of a strange and disturbing white creature. A creature introduced by James Gunn himself.
What is this strange creature?
Last April, behind-the-scenes images of Superman revealed that Lex Luthor was holding a strange white meta-human prisoner. A disturbing and unidentified humanoid creature. It didn't take much for fans to come up with all sorts of theories. Fans speculated that it could be a White Martian, or perhaps Parasite, a degenerate form of Metamorphos. It could also be Ultraman without his costume. A creature that reappears fleetingly in these new images of Superman.

Recently, during an interview on Big Ticket, James Gunn wanted to give more details regarding this mysterious character. The director then explains that:
"Mr. Beau" is a creation of Lex Luthor, which leads him to settle on a floating platform. He is the ugliest and grossest creature in creation.
This Mr. Beau should be a secondary character in the film. But he could play a role in the plot since some believe he could be a Genomorph, a life form created by Lex Luthor to finance his Project Cadmus.
