But if Meta undoubtedly offers these new features to stay ahead, this can also be explained by the group's desire to develop Meta AI.
A few days ago, Meta's CEO announced that it had already convinced 1 billion monthly users of its artificial intelligence, a large part of which would come from WhatsApp. By focusing more on instant messaging, Meta could encourage more users to use its AI.

Layout, the photo collage integrated into WhatsApp
Among WhatsApp's new features, the Layout tool should allow users to share photo collages more easily.
While this was already possible by downloading third-party applications, it will now be possible to create assemblies of up to 6 photos, without having to leave the application.
More with Music, to share your musical tastes
With the More With Music feature, WhatsApp wants to make it easier to share your favorite artists and music tracks. The application should allow you to add a song to your status, on a musical sticker, or within a publication.
Although Meta has not yet specified whether this feature will work with third-party solutions like Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer on the French market, it is possible that WhatsApp will integrate connections with these applications.
Photo Stickers, adding stickers to your status
If you are a big fan of WhatsApp statuses, the Photo Stickers feature is made for you! It will allow you to transform a photo into a sticker of the size and shape of your choice, before adding it directly to your status.
Add Yours, event photo sharing
The Add Yours feature, which could be translated as "Add yours", will allow you to react to users' photos with other photos.
Even if Meta is still quite vague about the use of the features, it should be very useful for obtaining several photos of a specific moment during an event, or for choosing from several photos.
