Three new games are now part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog, including Star Trucker, Wildfrost, and, most importantly, Rematch. A small French independent phenomenon that broke attendance records during its beta, and which we owe to Sloclap, the developers of SIFU and Absolver. And it's a total novelty since the game, which offers a more original approach to football, was officially launched on June 19, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It's the discovery of the moment.
Xbox Game Pass Free Play Days from June 19 to 23, 2025
Rematch, Star Trucker, and Wildfrost are the first additions to the second wave of Xbox Game Pass in July 2025. By the end of the month, subscribers will also be able to try out Warcraft, Call of Duty WWII, Little Nightmares II before the release of the third installment, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. But in addition to this new batch, and like every weekend, the service is also offering free trials of full games. This is what the manufacturer calls "Free Play Days" or FreePlayDays.
What's new in the "Free Play Days" from June 19 to 23, 2025? A big hit is playable for Xbox Game Pass Core, Standard, and Ultimate subscribers: Dead By Daylight. The asymmetrical horror game where you play as either a Survivor or a Killer. In both cases, they can be unknown characters or stars of genre cinema or even horror titles like Leon S Kennedy from Resident Evil 2 Remake, Ash from Evil Dead, Pyramid Head from Silent Hill, or Ghost Face from Scream.
But four free games can be tested, so three are missing. From now on, all Xbox Game Pass subscribers can discover the rhythm battle royale Headbangers, which is perfect for the approach of the Fête de la Musique and in the middle of Hellfest; Trailmakers, a sandbox vehicle construction game; and Synduality Echo of Ada, a PvPvE extraction shooter where you take control of a mecha.

"Dead by Daylight, Headbangers: Rhythm Royale, Trailmakers, and Synduality Echo of Ada are available to try for free this weekend for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and Core members, starting now through Monday, June 23 at 8:59 a.m. PDT," the Xbox Wire blog announced.
