The Samsung S95D is our favorite TV in 2024
In a TV year marked by very high-flying models, it is a Samsung model that has left the biggest impression on us. Its merit: high-level performance of course, but perhaps even more so the fact of having taken a risk by offering a matte panel on an OLED screen. With its S95D, Samsung has not just evolved the excellent recipe of the S95C. It has equipped its high-end model with an anti-reflective filter capable of compensating for one of the biggest weaknesses of OLED technology.
Of course, this panel will not suit everyone, especially when the screen is off, but the feat is such that it places the S95D in a category of its own this year. That of an OLED TV that has made a spectacular leap in brightness (like its best competitors), but which has also taken on another mission: to innovate.
