Xbox is already organizing a new conference: meet this week

Now that E3 is over, waves of video game announcements take place throughout the year. At the start of 2024, the various publishers, studios and manufacturers are giving us little respite. Two State of Plays from PlayStation, a Partners Direct and a Pokémon Presents from Nintendo as well as a Developer Direct from Microsoft: with all this, players already have plenty to fill their calendars for the months to come. But against all expectations, the ball of revelations is far from over. Indeed, Xbox has just made official the broadcast of a live Partner Preview this Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. (French time). As usual, the event will be held on the various official Xbox France channels.

The manufacturer has already confirmed the presence of renowned partners, such as Capcom, Nexon and EA. The presentation will last around 30 minutes and should contain more than a dozen trailers according to the press release shared by Xbox. Future spectators will be able to discover new excerpts from Tales of Kenzera: Zau, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess or even The First Berserker: Khazan. However, this live should well reserve some good surprises and speculations, as always, are going well.

Which titles could make an appearance?

As with each new event of the genre, metroidvania aficionados await the return of Hollow Knight: Silksong. The latest promises concerning this title date back to the Xbox Game Showcase in the summer 2022. The game was then expected to be released within the next 12 months, a release window that ultimately will not be met. Almost two years after this first trailer, an appearance by Team Cherry production is not impossible. Hope springs eternal.

The confirmed presence of EA and Capcom could nevertheless confirm the release of information concerning other projects than Tales of Kenzera: Zau and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The studio behind The Sims franchise could notably take us by surprise by revealing new information concerning the famous “Project René“, presented as the next revolutionary installment of the life simulator. However, the latest update of The Sims 4 suggests that EA and Maxis are not done with this episode. After a rather discreet Developer Direct with the exception of news about Bethesda's Indiana Jones game, let's hope that Xbox has more striking surprises in store for us this time around. See you in a few days for the verdict.
