April 2025 could be a big month for PS5 players, with two major Xbox game releases. As we already know, Forza Horizon 5 will arrive on April 29th in a standard and Deluxe edition with PS5 Pro enhancements. Apparently, a few days earlier, it will be the adventure game Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle that will arrive, according to insider bilbill-kun.
Indiana Jones: April 17 on PS5?
UPDATE – MARCH 24 2025
It's now official! Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle will indeed arrive on April 17, 2025 on PS5, as many rumors suggested. The announcement was made by PlayStation and Bethesda with an exceptional collaboration. Indeed, it was Troy Baker, the actor who plays Indiana Jones in the game and Nolan North (the actor who plays Nathan Drake in the PlayStation Uncharted license) who were able to stand out in an announcement trailer. A very nice reference that fans will appreciate. Knowing that Troy Baker also played Sam Drake, Nathan's brother in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
As we could suspect from recent leaks, this PS5 version of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle will be accompanied by a physical edition and a premium edition. This edition, offered at 109.99 euros, will offer:
– The game in physical version
– A jumbo steelbook case (thicker than a classic steelbook)
– A globe with a secret compartment
– A relic of the game with the digital key on the back
– Indy's journal
– In-game and digital bonuses (including a DLC and an artbook)
+2 days of early access as a pre-order bonus
UPDATE – MARCH 19, 2025
It seems to be confirmed for April 17 for Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle on PS5. After several rumors, notably from insider bilbill-kun, it's FNAC's turn to launch pre-orders for the game on its website for Thursday, April 17. A few hours after the game's page went live, the group quickly deleted the page, no longer allowing access to the detailed page. Further strengthening the theory that the date is indeed the correct one. Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle is expected to be released physically and in two versions: the Standard, at 79.99 euros, as well as the Premium at 109.99 euros allowing two days of early access, to play the game from April 15, 2025.

Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle has been available on Xbox Series X/S and PC since December 9. It remains one of the excellent titles of this end of 2024. We have known since August last year that the game is planned for PS5. During The Game Awards, it was confirmed that the game would be released on PS5 in the Spring. And for the moment, we are still waiting for an official communication from Microsoft.
Apparently, according to insider bilbill-kun (who was the first to share the visuals of the PS5 Pro), the MachineGames title is expected on the Sony console as of April 17th. The game will be offered in two editions, with a standard version (at 79.99 euros) and a "Premium" edition that will allow you to play two days in advance. Apparently, pre-orders are expected on March 25th, 2025.
Unlike Forza Horizon 5, Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle should be available physically in its standard and Premium versions. It's unclear at this time whether or not logging into a Microsoft account will be mandatory, as it will be in Forza Horizon 5.
Following the success of the game's release at the end of December, Machine Games has confirmed that DLC is expected soon. According to the latest rumors, a sequel and several other games are in the works, and Indiana Jones as a video game could eventually become a multi-part franchise.
