The G-Flip is a mini PC that plays it all overpowered

The smallest entry-level smartphone has a larger screen than the G-FLIP, but the Aoostar mini PC has other arguments to put forward. But let's focus for a moment on this integrated screen, a rarity in this segment: equipped with a diagonal of 5.5 inches (1080p), it is touch-sensitive and has a display frequency of 60Hz. It's not much, but with its hinge it can be positioned from 0 to 65 degrees. Not bad for quickly controlling or monitoring a system.

Mini PC, but it does the most

What's most impressive are the innards of the beast. The PC actually has an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chip, a high-end Zen 5 model engraved at 4nm with a clock frequency of up to 5.1GHz. This system-on-a-chip offers 80 TOPS of AI processing power, which is double the minimum configuration for a Copilot+PC!

The case can swallow up to 96GB of RAM without flinching, there are also two PCIe 4.0 slots for up to 8TB of storage. The integrated GPU, a Radeon 890M, benefits from RDNA 3.5 architecture, which allows the G-FLIP to handle modern AAA games at 1080p and with a solid frame rate. And if that wasn't enough, an OCulink port is also available: this connector offers a connection (up to 64Gbps) for NVMe SSDs or external GPUs.

The rest of the connectivity isn't bad either: 4 USB-A 3.2 ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, a DisplayPort 2.1 port (with support for three screens or an external 8K HDR monitor at 60 Hz), two 2.5G Ethernet ports, USB4, as well as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. Unfortunately, there is no release date or price for this yet, but Aoostar promises to sell it on Amazon and Aliexpress.
