Weather map: the app disappears from Google's Pixel smartphones
The Pixel weather app was practical, easy to use, and rich in detailed data. It's hard to understand why the interactive map disappeared from Google smartphones. Available in several countries since August 2024, the feature is now missing from all devices, without explanation or warning from Google. It remains to be seen whether this is a bug or a permanent removal.

Android Auto: turn your car into a dashcam
While recent cars are increasingly connected, most of them do not allow video recording. Google has just developed an app designed for Android Auto that will allow vehicles equipped with a navigation system to record journeys, much like a standalone dashcam. Be aware that the app isn't native, and you can't download it from the app store. Indeed, it must be integrated by the car manufacturer.

Our tests of the week
Samsung Galaxy A36: balanced but perfectible
The Galaxy A36 is a balanced mid-range smartphone with good value for money. We like its design, its well-calibrated AMOLED panel, and its wide-angle sensor that delivers good results. One UI7 is a big plus. We regret that the battery life is so average and that the processor is a bit weak. Samsung offers a device here that doesn't excel but is good everywhere despite everything.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: beautiful photos but modest performance
The Edge 60 Fusion will appeal to users looking for good platform stability, fast charging, and a quality main sensor. It's a beautiful smartphone and its colors are very trendy. Unfortunately, the power doesn't keep up and the battery life is a bit short. We also note low audio power and an autofocus that isn't always very responsive.
