Like every week, the Epic Games Store will rotate its free game offers and other gifts this Thursday, May 1st, at 5 p.m. Before the schedule changes for the first holiday of the month, you still have the opportunity to take advantage of the currently available offers, if you haven't already. A little reminder is in order.
A new free game from Amanita Design offered on the Epic Games Store
After offering Botanicula from Amanita Design (to whom we also owe the very good Machinarium) the week before, the Epic Games Store is once again calling on the talented studio to offer the only free game available until May 1st. This time it's Chuchel, a comical and colorful adventure game as the studio knows how to do well. As its name suggests, we play the hairy hero Chuchel, along with his rival Kekel, in a quest filled with challenges and puzzles.
Highly rated on competing platforms like Steam, the title, available for a few more days on the Epic Games Store, stands out in particular for its relaxed and humorous atmosphere. As with Botanicula, Chuchel can also count on the DVA group to delight our ears with an equally crazy soundtrack.
A Welcome Pack to Grab for Albion Online
In addition to Chuchel, which is the free game of the week, the Epic Games Store is also offering gifts for the MMO Albion Online. This one specifically takes the form of a Welcome Pack, which requires playing Sandbox Interactive's multiplayer title on the same platform. This pack includes the following:
