FF7 Remake 3 continues to deliver good news, it smells good

FF7 Remake 3 continues to deliver good news, it smells good

It seems that everything is coming together for FF7 Remake 3. Just yesterday, Tetsuya Nomura, a key figure in the series, spoke about the game, assuring that everything was progressing as planned. Today, new information seems to confirm his words… and it's clearly going in the right direction for the future of the project.

FF7 Remake 3 has still the right to reassuring news

Fans of FF7 can start to shudder. A little bit of information slipped onto Instagram could well herald big news: the English dubbing of FF7 Remake 3 is reportedly underway. It all started with an Instagram story posted by Cody Christian, the actor who voices Cloud Strife. A picture in the studio, a few words... and the whole community is in turmoil. It's impossible to confirm with certainty, but many see it as a sign that the project is moving forward faster than expected.

If voices are being recorded, it means one thing: the script for FF7 Remake 3 is complete. And in the video game industry, this is a key step. It marks the start of serious things, and above all, it gives hope that the game maybe isn't that far off. Many are talking about a release in 2027, right on the 30th anniversary of the original game. This would be symbolic, and it would fit with the pace of development of the first two games. A teaser in summer 2025, a big communication in 2026, then a release in early 2027? This scenario appeals to quite a few people.

But it's not certain yet...

Be careful though. Nothing is official. Some believe it's too early for a real full dubbing for FF7 Remake 3. It could be a trailer, a teaser, or even another project where Cloud would make an appearance (hello Kingdom Hearts 4?). Others point out that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth had already used lines of dialogue recorded two years before its release. In short, this session could also be just a small piece of a larger puzzle.

What is certain, however, is that the anticipation surrounding the third part is immense. The remake has managed to modernize a video game monument, while sometimes dividing opinions on certain narrative choices. Now it remains to close the adventure in style. And Square Enix knows this very well.
