It's the kind of small detail that never goes unnoticed by even the most attentive gamers. Several titles from the Call of Duty and Tony Hawk Pro Skater licenses have just appeared with the mention "included with Xbox Game Pass" on the Microsoft Store. A simple mistake? An early update? Or a disguised teaser before an official announcement? In any case, the rumors are starting up again.
Call of Duty and Tony Hawk coming to Xbox Game Pass?
By searching the Windows Store for PC, players discovered that Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 & 2 now have the "included with Xbox Game Pass" label. The problem is: these games aren't yet downloadable via the subscription. For now, they remain displayed without being accessible. This suggests that their arrival is planned, but that the announcement has not yet been officially made.
For months, rumors have been piling up around Call of Duty in Xbox Game Pass. It's one of the most anticipated topics since Microsoft acquired Activision-Blizzard. The same goes for the Tony Hawk games, already mentioned several times to enrich the service's catalog. Seeing these mentions appear directly on the store is therefore a rather clear sign: their arrival seems closer than ever. Now it remains to be seen when and especially if it will be for a long time or not.
Warzone already in the service
Note that Call of Duty is already partially integrated into the Xbox Game Pass ecosystem. Ultimate subscribers can collect bonuses for Warzone, such as skins, weapons, or experience tokens. This first step clearly shows that Microsoft's strategy is in place. A new Call of Duty would therefore be quite natural.
