Dragon Ball, Knights of the Zodiac: Death of a Giant

For many fans of Japanese animation, the series Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z have been an essential gateway. Since the end of the 1980s, several generations of French people have come together thanks to a common passion: Dragon Ball and its sequel Dragon Ball Z. While the universe, the fights, the transformations and the universe have largely contributed to the popularity of the series, it draws its greatest strength of his characters, extremely endearing. Club Dorothée spectators thus discovered a gallery of heroes perfectly embodied by particularly talented actors.

Like his colleagues, Eric Legrand - who lent his voice to the character of Vegeta for around thirty years, but also Seiya in Knights of the Zodiac - is one of those voices that have accompanied us since childhood. Sadly, the French actor passed away on May 22, 2025. The news was announced by Patrick Borg (French voice of Son Goku) in a Facebook post.

Following the announcement of this sad news, many fans of Dragon BallZ and Knights of the Zodiac have spoken out on the social network X to express their grief and pay tribute to this great actor. He will be remembered for his iconic voice, of course, but also for his fight for the recognition of voice actors and for the abandonment of the term "voice actor".
