From the moment it was announced, a very simple word seemed to sum up inZOI's experience: ambition. The company that aims to be a direct competitor to The Sims has indeed not failed to sell players a dream, so much so that inZOI Studio has ultimately been somewhat overwhelmed by the situation. As a result, since the launch of Early Access last March, the teams have fallen behind their roadmap and have finally postponed the first update scheduled for May. But we will know more about this very soon.
inZOI's first update is coming up
In a message addressed to the community on the game's Discord server, Hyungjun 'Kjun' Kim, director and producer of inZOI, has indeed revealed that a new speech will take place as early as June 6. It will then specify the release date of this first update, currently scheduled for mid-June without further details, in addition to sharing more details on the gameplay improvements in the pipeline. "These include features such as adoption, deepening relationships, and improving the core gameplay experience," the creator said.
"We want to assure you that improving the gameplay experience remains one of our top priorities," Kjun added to reassure players. He also specified that features frequently requested by players are actively being developed. The next letter from the inZoi producer will also go into more detail about these updates.
Lots of new features on the program
That should please the gaming community. As a reminder, as announced by the studio a few months ago, this first update to inZOI should also introduce new features such as the adjustment of the characters' body size and musculature, the ability to use cheat codes, new furniture, additional outfits, and more. It should then be followed by three other updates which, for the moment, are announced for August, October and December 2025. See you next week for more information then, and perhaps during the Summer Game Fest?
