Harrison Ford's wit is regularly talked about. During a press conference for Captain America 4, he brushed off a journalist for a stupid question, and he never hesitates to show his distance from the Hollywood world. Despite playing two of cinema's most popular heroes, he maintains a natural, unfailing wit. When he learned he could have played Batman, the 82-year-old actor had a very funny reaction!

During an interview promoting Captain America 4, in which he plays Thaddeus Ross / Red Hulk, Joshua Horowitz, from the podcast HAPPY SAD CONFUSED, revealed to Harrison Ford that he was on Tim Burton's short list to play the role of Batman. Upon learning this information, the American actor had a more sarcastic reaction than never:
Oh shit... I could have had a career!
A hilarious line from the actor, star of the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, still going strong at over 80 years old.Having one of the most solid and consistent careers in Hollywood, the absence of superheroes in his filmography has hardly prevented him from succeeding.
Would Harrison Ford have made a good Batman?
In 1989, when Tim Burton's first Batman was released, ultimately played by Michael Keaton, Harrison Ford was starring in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the third installment in Steven Spielberg's saga. It's highly likely that even if the director had offered him the role of Bruce Wayne, he would have declined, preferring his role as an adventurer. Not to mention that despite his undeniable acting talents, he would have been better suited to play James Gordon than the DC superhero, who requires a certain "coldness."
And you, what do you think?
