Star Wars is 48 years old: it takes nearly 200 hours to complete this marathon, here is the program!

Star Wars is about to blow out 48 candles! Released on May 25, 1977 in the United States, Star Wars: A New Hope launched an iconic saga, spanning 11 chapters (three trilogies and two spin-off films). With these spin-offs and spin-off series, George Lucas's franchise is one of the most extensive in the 7th art. While the journey won't stop there, with many series in development on Disney+, this anniversary is the perfect opportunity to embark on an intergalactic marathon on the platform of the company with the big ears. This non-canon anthology is produced by numerous animation studios and allows viewers to discover the cult universe from a multitude of ever more original angles. A third season will arrive in October 2025, as announced during the Star Wars Celebration.

    They will also be able to discover Tales of the Underworld, which arrives on May 4, 2025 on Disney+.

    Day 30

    For this last day, why not take the opportunity to discover the behind the scenes of the creation of the first trilogy, with the documentary Star Wars: Empire of Dreams. This 2004 documentary is also available on Disney+.

    This 2025 marathon allows you to (re)discover all the major Star Wars works, in chronological order or according to your desires, by integrating all the new releases available on Disney+ to date… because they are still missing the Ewok TV movies (The Ewok Adventure, The Battle of Endor) which are unavailable on Mickey's platform. Note that there are no new films this year and that you will have to wait until May 2026 to discover The Mandalorian & Grogu, then Star Wars: Starfighter in May 2027.
