Summer Game Fest 2025: Here are the first games confirmed for the conference

In two weeks, Geoff Keighley will officially kick off the traditional summer conferences with his Summer Game Fest. Scheduled for June 6th, it's always a highly anticipated event for gamers each year. And for good reason: it's an opportunity for publishers to take stock of their upcoming games, which then benefit from a new spotlight when they aren't announced with great fanfare. And indeed, as the event approaches, the program is slowly starting to unfold.

Two games confirmed for the Summer Game Fest

It's indeed become a habit for our dear Keighley; just a few days before the launch of the festivities, the time has come for him to raise the hype a little. And to do this, there's nothing better than giving a first glimpse of the games that we'll be able to discover during this Summer Game Fest. Like, for example, WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, the Souls-like action-RPG developed by Leenzee, which will be showing off a little more before its release scheduled for July 24th on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.

But that's not all, since the presence of a second game has also been confirmed. It will be Chrono Odyssey, an open-world MMORPG developed by Chrono Studio. With no release date yet, this title, described by its creators as "a next-gen action MMORPG [...] powered by Unreal Engine 5", should thus be entitled to new images for the Summer Game Fest. Knowing that a playtest phase has already been announced for June on Steam, without further details to date.

A not very busy summer schedule for the moment

And this is only the beginning. Because the closer Summer Game Fest gets, the more the different studios will be able to confirm their presence or not at the event. Especially since at the time of writing, almost no major publisher has indicated its intention to hold an event of its own. Neither PlayStation, whose presence is still uncertain, nor Electronic Arts, nor Ubisoft, nor Square Enix, nor Capcom, nor Nintendo... In short, you get the idea. In fact, only Microsoft has confirmed that its Xbox Games Showcase will be held on June 8, which will then be surrounded by several other conferences mainly dedicated to the indie scene.
