Xbox Game Pass: A hugely popular game available to all subscribers

As we know, Xbox Game Pass is a great opportunity to discover games without having to pay a cent, a bit like Prime Gaming, to name just one. And today, subscribers can enjoy a very nice addition. Here's what it is.

Xbox Game Pass offers a big free game for subscribers

The service's catalog continues to expand with a major arrival. As of May 27, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is now available on console, PC, and via the cloud, at no additional cost for subscribers. This addition should delight fans of tactical shooters and online co-op.

Originally released in 2019, The Division 2 is developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game takes place in Washington, D.C., in a post-pandemic world where players take on the role of agents of The Division, a special unit tasked with restoring order in the face of hostile factions. Available now with Xbox Game Pass, this fast-paced TPS, RPG elements and online co-op offers a rich experience, designed to be enjoyed in a group, but fully playable solo. It is a title that has evolved over the years thanks to numerous updates, gameplay improvements and additional content. A very nice addition to Xbox Game Pass.

Massive content from launch

Good news, the version available in Xbox Game Pass includes all the basic content. Players can discover the main campaign, freely explore the open districts of Washington, D.C., participate in dynamic activities and compete against other players in PvP conflict zones. Note that the Warlords of New York expansion, highly acclaimed for its storytelling and return to New York, is not included as standard, but remains available separately for those who wish to extend the experience.

By integrating The Division 2 into Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft is strengthening the appeal of its service, particularly for fans of online shooters and long-term content. The title is still actively supported by Ubisoft and benefits from a solid player base, particularly thanks to its multiplayer dimension and seasonal events.
