Released in early access on all platforms in September 2022, then in version 1.0 at the end of December, Disney Dreamlight Valley will finally respond to the community's persistent complaints to add a much-requested feature. This will arrive more precisely via an upcoming update, among other major new features recently announced by Gameloft.
Disney Dreamlight Valley finally synchronizes its kingdoms
Disney Dreamlight Valley doesn't seem to be short of arguments to make players want to return to the many kingdoms of the brand with the big ears anytime soon. Gameloft recently announced a busy roadmap for its flagship title, with numerous free major updates on the agenda. The next one arrives on June 18. Called "The Mysteries of Skull Rock", it will allow you to return to your childhood in the world of Peter Pan.
But Gameloft's Tinker Bell had another great announcement up its sleeve. Since its launch at the end of 2023, the PlayStation community has been lamenting the lack of cross-save on Disney Dreamlight Valley. Gameloft is well aware of this, and has therefore announced some very good news for them. "Highly requested by the community, the cross-save feature for PlayStation users will arrive with the Mysteries of Skull Rock update on June 18, 2025!".
Starting Wednesday, June 18, 2025, it will finally be possible for PS4 and PS5 players to share their Disney Dreamlight Valley saves on other platforms. As the saying goes, patience and length of time are more valuable than strength or rage. Note that, after this major update on June 18, Gameloft will add the finale of the Storybook Valley expansion with "The Unwritten Realms" on July 9. After Peter Pan, the upcoming fall and winter in Disney Dreamlight Valley should also send us to the kingdoms of Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella, respectively. But that's a story for next time.
