What's next after Hogwarts Legacy? In 2023, Avalanche Software succeeded in transposing the Harry Potter universe into an open world including the Hogwarts - Forbidden Forest - Hogsmeade triptych, and a huge area created from scratch to offer Potterheads the ideal playground so they can fly on broomsticks or Hippogriffs.

Games is looking to hire a Lead Designer Narrative / Design Director, which will go against the above. Although the offer does not explicitly mention Hogwarts Legacy 2, it is a position for an "Online Multiplayer RPG", whose qualifications are: "experience with free-to-play or service-based games", "knowledge of the live-service model, content updates and online multiplayer". Also, the offer specifies that the selected candidate will join the team that worked on the first Hogwarts Legacy, therefore at Avalanche Software.
We recall that last summer, another job offer - spotted by the media GameRant - published by WB Games mentioned a position for a "yet unannounced AAA console." While many have made the connection with the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy, nothing of the sort has ever been specified. But with the game having since moved to priority development, we have every reason to believe it.
