In the world of life simulation games, only one true representative has managed to establish itself for 25 years: The Sims. It's not for lack of trying for the competition, however. But it's struggling to maintain its position. However, things may well have taken a new turn this time. Several rivals are emerging on the market, starting with the South Korean InZoi. Still available in early access, Krafton's game has excellent news for many players.
InZoi finally arrives where many expected it
It was a little late, but it finally launched. After a delay, InZoi opened its early access last March. The new big competitor to The Sims is thus making a place for itself in the world of life simulations. Very similar to the Electronic Arts game on paper, with an added dose of realism, the promise is very interesting. However, it's still a promise for the moment, as the game is still in development. But, the current version is no less interesting for many players. At least, for those who have access to it.
Indeed, InZoi is far from being accessible everywhere yet. For the moment, Krafton has focused on working on the PC version, namely Windows. But many fans of the genre are waiting for it on other platforms. Good news has just arrived for some of them. During Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), the manufacturer made a gaming point when discussing its MacBooks. The catalog of future games to join the ecosystem has become more specific, and we find InZoi among them.
Thus, InZoi will be released on MacBook this summer. The game will be compatible with the M3 and M4 chips. If you're interested, pre-orders are already open. And that's not the only good news from the conference. As we know, the title is also highly anticipated on another platform. No date has been announced yet, but Craig Federighi, in charge of presenting Apple computers, has specified that it will also be available on consoles later this year. This information remains to be confirmed by Krafton, but it gives many people hope.
