Leboncoin, SNCF, Fnac breakdown: accounts are blocked for no reason, what's going on?

You are having difficulty connecting to your Leboncoin, Fnac, SNCF Connect or Vinted account for a few hours? Rest assured, you are not the only one. As reported by our colleagues at Figaro, many users are complaining on social networks about the inability to connect to their account on these different sites.

My account has been blocked without explanation on Vinted, leboncoin and RakutenFrance while I legally sell books there. I am not alone in this case. Is there a bug or an update? Please enlighten us”,wrote an aggrieved user on X. “I was blocked by Leboncoin and Leclerc just now for no reason, I have the impression that it is a bug”,says another.

Unsurprisingly, the reports exploded from noon on DownDetector, a site specializing in listing outages on the most popular services/sites. For example, there was a big peak with more than 2,100 reports on Leboncoin.

A problem with the anti-robot verification system?

Without an official statement, we still don't really know what's wrong with these sites. But apparently, it could be a bug on the anti-robot verification system side. The error message displayed on Leboncoin tends to confirm this theory: “Why this blockage? Something in the browser's behavior intrigued us. Various possibilities: you surf and click on superhuman speed, or something is blocking javascript from working on your computer”.

After some research, we see that all the sites affected by this problem do indeed require an unusual check. Note however that things seem to be gradually returning to normal on the impacted sites. Before you log back in, however, we advise you to clear your browser cache. And you, are you affected by this bug? Tell us in the comments.
