After a beta testing phase on the Galaxy S24, Samsung has officially announced the rollout of One UI 7 starting April 7. This update will bring major improvements to the interface and performance, first on the latest high-end models before extending to other devices.
Samsung confirms One UI 7 available from April 7th on recent models
After announcing a launch window, Samsung has just confirmed on its website that the stable version of One UI 7 will begin rolling out on April 7th. This update The update, based on Android 15, will be available first on the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Until now, One UI 7 has only been available in stable form on the Galaxy S25 and in beta on a handful of devices. The update therefore seems ready to be released in stable form to a larger number of users. Although the latest beta version, One UI 7 Beta 5, was recently published, it is not excluded that Samsung offers a final one before the official launch.
A gradual rollout for other Galaxy
Samsung also detailed its deployment schedule, confirming that the update will gradually arrive on other models. After the Galaxy S24 and the new foldables, One UI 7 will be extended to the Galaxy S23 range, including the S23 FE, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Tablets are not left out, with a rollout planned for the Galaxy Tab S10 and Tab S9. Other models should follow in the months to coming, although the brand has not yet communicated a precise timetable for its entire range.

One UI 7 brings a major overhaul of the Samsung interface with smoother animations, reworked icons and the introduction of the Now Bar, which displays real-time contextual information on the lock screen. Galaxy AI integration is also deeper, and Samsung is making it easier to navigate settings with natural language search, among other new features.
