Xiaomi took advantage of MWC 2025 to announce a wide range of new products, including new tablets, new smart bracelets, and a new electric scooter. In the process, the Chinese group proudly announced the expansion of its home appliance offering outside of China. Until now, Xiaomi's home appliances were limited to its home country, where it was a great success.
On X, Xiaomi says it intends to “officially launch major home appliances in international markets”. These will offer users around the world “an even more connected home experience”, Xiaomi adds. As shown in the illustration image shared by Xiaomi on the social network, the brand will mainly offer refrigerators, washing machines, dryers and air conditioners.
Xiaomi to storm the market global
By marketing its household appliances internationally, Xiaomi will challenge many well-established brands, including Samsung, LG, Bosch and Whirlpool. To establish itself in this market, Xiaomi can count on the synergy of its devices with its many connected objects, already massively sold internationally. In France, Xiaomi markets several smart solutions based on home automation, including robot vacuum cleaners, humidifiers and fans.
The brand also already sells small household appliances, such as kettles, food processors and hot air fryers. By riding the wave of popularity of these products, the Chinese manufacturer aims to make a place for itself in the highly competitive and competitive global household appliance market. As indicated by the brand, Xiaomi should also bet everything on the Internet of Things.
With its many devices, including smartphones, the group has developed a vast ecosystem of devices, similar to that of another giant in the sector, Samsung. For the moment, Xiaomi remains tight-lipped about information. It is not known which devices will be marketed in France, and from what date.
