From Software will arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2, which the Japanese manufacturer has just unveiled with an exclusive title: The Duskbloods. The latter immerses players in a gothic universe centered on mysterious creatures, presumably vampires. Although details are still sparse, the first images reveal an aesthetic close to Bloodborne, one of From Software's classics. We can expect intense and technical combat, a trademark of the studio, as well as a carefully constructed immersive world.

But that's not all. From Software seems to have introduced new abilities for the characters, offering a fresh touch to gameplay that remains faithful to the essence of "Soulsborne." Steampunk influences and even more unexpected elements, such as the ability to to transform into dinosaurs, add interesting gameplay mechanics.

The choice to reserve The Duskbloods for the Switch 2 marks a strategic turning point, not only for From Software, but also for Nintendo. By partnering with a renowned developer, the company shows its willingness to offer ambitious and varied titles to demonstrate the technical capabilities of its Nintendo Switch 2, which will be released in France in June.

At the same time, From Software fans will also be able to discover Elden Ring Nightreign, planned for the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. This spin-off should maintain the excitement around the studio while waiting for the release of their next big project.

The announcement of The Duskbloods reinforces the appeal of this Nintendo Switch 2, even if its price, set at 469.99 euros in France, could discourage more than one. Fans of difficult challenges and rich narratives will, however, have to wait until 2026 to explore this mysterious universe. For now, details are limited, but the announcement has already sparked great curiosity within the community. You can already watch or rewatch the trailer below.
