According to Konami, there's no need to know anything about the franchise, as Silent Hill f is a separate game, a new mythology that has nothing to do with the previous games. A new saga or a definitive change of direction for the franchise?
Silent Hill 5 will not only be completely new, but it should relaunch the series on new tracks. A new series of connected games? An anthology? The mystery remains. As a reminder, Silent Hill 5 no longer takes place in the iconic American city and its surroundings, but in Japan, thousands of kilometers away. It follows a young girl, Hinako, a disturbed teenager who is the victim of what appear to be powerful hallucinations. The poor soul seems to be plagued by a whole host of horrors that attack her psychologically and physically. The developers promise us a game with strong and striking themes, as well as a twisting and very psychological storyline. For the moment, unfortunately, we have nothing more to sink our teeth into. No gameplay or even a release date is expected for this highly anticipated Silent Hill f.
