It's been three years since Elden Ring was released, and the game hasn't lost any of its splendor. We'll soon hear more about it with its multiplayer spin-off, Elden Ring Nightreign, which will arrive on May 30th on consoles and PC. The game is clearly one of the most notable titles of this generation, thanks to its gameplay, which is still as demanding as ever, but also relatively accessible, allowing for a whole host of different approaches, as well as its rich and exciting universe to discover. A world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki, his artists, but also the pen of George R.R. Martin, creator of Games of Thrones. Elden Ring is still as exciting as ever, and will even open up to the general public with this new project that already promises to be incredible.
An Elden Ring film is in preparation with a very talented director
The rumors were true, and the big leak from a short while ago was not a lie, Elden Ring will have its own film. Bandai Namco announced the news in partnership with the A24 company, well-known for its quality films and its unique style identifiable on some of its big productions. We're already pretty reassured to know that such a giant is behind the project, but we're even more so when we learn that the film Elden Ring will be written and directed by the talented Alex Garland, novelist, screenwriter and director to whom we owe films like 28 Days Later, Ex Machina and Civil War. An artist with strong and remarkable markers at first glance.
FromSoftware soon in theaters
Hidetaka Miyazaki, father of Elden Ring, had said several times that he was really up for developing his license in other media, including a feature film, visibly his call was heard and it didn't take long. For the moment, no shooting date and even less release of the film have been given. The project is still in its infancy, so we'll have to be patient. In any case, with such potential, we can only be curious, but also on our guard since it could quickly become a real challenge to transcribe the atmosphere and oddities of Elden Ring on the big screen.
