Hellfest 2025, an edition awaited by metal fans

All fans of extreme music will meet in Clisson in Loire-Atlantique to attend the new edition of Hellfest. The famous festival will be held from June 19th to 22nd and will welcome 184 bands across the six stages, showcasing both metal music legends and new talent. This year, the public will have the chance to see Muse, Scorpions, Linkin Park, Korn and Judas Priest. On Friday, the festival will feature female and female-led bands such as Within Temptation, Epica and Spiritbox. The public will also be able to enjoy the new stage with artists such as Turnstile, Jinjer and Knocked Loose. A line-up that has seduced fans of this genre of music because the 4-day passes for this 18th edition of Hellfest sold out in just a few minutes after going on sale!

This 1500 square meter venue was inaugurated on February 28th to offer homemade beer, concerts, and food. While the excitement surrounding the Hellfest 2025 lineup is significant, decisions made by the organization are causing an outcry among some fans.

A single menu too expensive and access to HellCity restricted

Indeed, for the 18th edition of Hellfest, the organizers have decided to restrict access to Hellcity. Thus, the brewery/restaurant will only be accessible to people with a Hellfest pass. During the 4 days of the festival, the general public will not have access. In addition, only one menu at a single price deemed exorbitant will be offered.

As the Hellfest website specifies, the menu will offer either "The Killer Tomato" or "Beef on Fire" as a main course (with the option of omitting beef for vegetarians) and the "Black Velvet Inferno" as a dessert. The offer is displayed at 46 euros (including drinks and appetizers). A price that has caused some regulars to react, regretting that this menu will not be accessible to many festival-goers and deeming it overpriced.
